We believe that the value and benefits of Budo are as relevant, if not more so, in our contemporary world as they have ever been.  Despite this, increasingly, we hear that the "traditional" Martial Arts are becoming less popular, are "niche", or have lost their way.

Budo Etc. aims to bring together like-minded practitioners of all styles of Budo, irrespective of emphasis or focus, through insight, educational content, thought leadership, research projects and discussion.  While most platforms are constrained by their emphasis on one specific art or aspect, (such as "practical" Karate or Jujutsu), Budo Etc. embraces the diversity of all arts.

Budo Etc. is a contemporary multi-channel platform with a specific focus on the intersection between the classical and traditional arts, and their modern-world relevance.  However, the "etc" in Budo etc., is just that... our lens goes far beyond the "martial" arts into ideas, insights, and areas of interest and relevance to everyone in pursuit of successful, and productive, contemporary living.

In addition to visual content, Budo Etc. celebrates the power of knowledge transferred through the written and spoken word, via the Budo Etc. Podcast, books, and other publications.  As well as providing insight and value to experienced Budoka, we hope to help to introduce the beauty, function and benefits of Budo to a whole new, modern, audience.
